Privacy notice

This notice explains which personal data Succeed Consulting GmbH processes when you visit hightechselect.com or send us a request, and what your rights are. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Succeed Consulting GmbH is the controller for the processing described in this notice. Data protection requests can be sent to the email address above.

2. What we process when you visit this website

Server log data

When you open this website, our hosting provider automatically records technical data: your IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, the referring page, browser type and operating system. We use this data to deliver the website reliably and securely and to detect abuse. Log data is kept for a short period and then deleted. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and embeds no third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. Your cart and your language choice are kept in your own browser (local storage) so they survive a page reload; they are not sent to us until you send a request, and you can delete them at any time in your browser settings.

3. When you send an order request or a sample request

We process the details you enter (company, contact name, email, phone, delivery address, VAT number if given, the gifts and quantities in your cart, desired delivery date, occasion and your message) in order to prepare your quote, to handle your order and to answer you. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is the preparation and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this correspondence for as long as it is needed for that purpose and for as long as statutory retention duties require (for business records, ten years under Swiss law).

Requests sent through the website are delivered to our mailbox by Resend, Inc., 2261 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA, acting as our processor; Resend keeps the sending records for a short period. To prevent abuse, the forms check how many requests arrive from one connection; the IP address used for this check is not stored by us.

4. Hosting

This website is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, through its global network, which includes data centres in Switzerland and the European Union. Cloudflare processes the technical data described in section 2 on our behalf as a processor.

5. Transfers abroad

Where data is transferred outside Switzerland and the EEA, our providers rely on the Swiss-U.S. and EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to its processing, within the limits of the applicable law. To exercise these rights, write to hello@hightechselect.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Switzerland or, if you are in the EEA, with the supervisory authority of your country.

We may update this notice from time to time. The version published on this page applies.
